Bonjour!  I'm looking forward to a great year at Chugiak HS! 

 

My French studies began in Ohio. I then moved to France to study, first in Pau then in Grenoble. After transferring to the University of Alaska Anchorage, I earned my BA in French, then continued on for my MA in Teaching. Currently, I am working on my Doctorate in Literacy, Culture, and Language Education through Indiana University. 

 

Languages and learning about other cultures are passions of mine. I've found that learning about another culture through its language is a great way to connect in a way that goes deeper than the surface. It can open all kinds of doors when you have a way to connect with another culture.
