Day five - with Alli

Saturday June 1, 2019

Aujourd’hui Miassa and I woke up at 7:30 to eat breakfast I ate a baguette with salami and cheese. Miassa ate cereal. Her mom drove us to the school at 8 and we met up with the rest of the group. I found out that my friend Natalie cut her finger yesterday and had to go to the hospital (she’s ok, they just cleaned it). I thought that was funny. Well not funny that she got hurt but funny because she had to go to a French hospital. Any waysssss we get on this fancy bus with comfy seats and air conditioning. Natalie, Emily, Kehau and I talk for awhile but then we sit in our own chairs and listen to music and look at the pretty view. We pick Mme. Ayers and Mme. Preclaire up at some weird place and continue or way to Lyon. We arrive in this pretty town that looks old but new. So pretty. We start walking around town and the small streets and take tons of pictures <-(Such tourists) then we arrive at this Tram thing and wait in a long line with MANY people. Eventually we get on and go up through a tunnel. We arrive at a Cathedral. With a golden god on top. We go inside and I touch holy water and continue walking. So many glass windows and it was dark (kinda creepy) but pretty cool. We ate lunch in the grass. We start walking and we come to these stairs and they look like they never stop. So many! We get to the bottom and my legs were shaking so bad. Then we continue and MORE STAIRS!!! We arrive to the museum and I can barely stand my legs were shaking so bad. But the museum was cool. Cool designs and stuff. Then we walk down these streets and they are so narrow I don’t know how so many people fit. Eventually we made it to a town square and we had 45 mins to shop. Me Natalie Emily and Kehau went to a smoothie shop and sat there for 45 mins and went back to the town square and got back on the bus and went home. Miassa and I got home and ate dinner and ice cream and couldn’t wait to go to bed our legs hurt so bad!!
