Day nineteen - with Crew

June 15. Today I started off by waking up at 6:30 a.m, and sleeping in until 7 a.m, we left the hostel at 8 a.m. We walked out of our temporary home and headed towards the metro. When we got there I had to get a new ticket because mine stopped working. We arrived at our destination after a few stops, the Louvre Museum. At the Louvre we saw lots of big statues and beautiful paintings including the Mona Lisa. After we took a tour through almost the entire museum I noticed I hadn't exactly had time to eat breakfast so I got a triple cheeseburger at Mcdonalds. After this we had two choices, go shopping and find my friends stuff he left, or go to a church. I chose shopping. Hunter, Maggie, Julie and I all headed towards the “street of gold” as we liked to call it. Here you could find anything your heart could desire; Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Versace, Stone Island, and Barberry just to name a few. These stores were a little frightening, Hunter paid €95 for a t-shirt, and in one of the stores they sold €4000 jackets. After the wallet draining journey, we walked to the docks where we boarded a fancy boat/restaurant. We had a 3 course meal which was absolutely zestful. If this day was a Sundae, then that dinner was the cherry on top. We then arrived back at the hostel early, at 10 p.m.
