Day fourteen - with Emily

Today we went to the islands off the coast of France. We walked a long way to the beach. Alli, Natalie and I stopped at this teardrop shaped hole in the rocks, and took a picture. Then we passed a prison or something and a light house. We had to hike down the trail to get to the spot where we were swimming. We swam for a little while then I sat on a rock and found hermit crabs in sea shells. Then we left and hiked back to the town. We ate a really good pizza. However, they left the pits in the olives. So I bit into an olive and felt something hard then spit it out. We finished our pizza on the boat. We went to the soap factory. We didn’t get to make the soap, but learned how to make it. Then we stamped the soap with random symbols. After that we went to the soap store and bought some soap. We then went to a museum. However Mrs. Susel and I went to a church instead and explored that. It was a really cool and big. It looked like it was from the gothic era. It was falling apart from being old. After that we rode the Metro back to our hostel. Then we walked to the beach front and ate dinner. However, it started pouring and hailing on our way there so we had to hide under a tree. Then we got to eat at an Indian Restaurant. The food was really good and it looked spicy but was not spicy. Then we walked, but a few of us started to run and we crossed the road and went up the wrong street. Then we got all the way up the road and found out we were on the wrong road. Then we sprinted down the hill and saw the last person turn the corner and ran towards them. We made it to the hostel safe and sound. Then we went to bed.
